Spread ove 0.5 acres (0.20 hectares) of land, the Jamesville Primitive Baptist Church and Cemetery is historic church. This site is also known as the Jamesville Woman's Club, as it said that the church is made up of the Woman's Club Association. This association was formed in order to make sure that the beauty of this structure was maintained and well preserved, and even the cemetery.
Overlooking the Pamlico River, Festival Park opened its doors in 2012 to the public. It is set beside the North Carolina Estuarium and features picnic spots, Papa's Playground, a maritime themed zone for kids and a performance space. This scenic park regularly hosts movies in the park, outdoor concerts and festivals. It also has amusement rides on special occasions.
Family amusement park that features bumper boats, a miniature golf course, an arcade, go-karts, and a snack bar. The park is open six days a week during the summer and open on the weekends during fall and spring.
Nestled alongside the Tar River, this natural area encompasses 324 acres of land and water and features over 250 acres of rich bottomland forest, four lakes that cover 48 acres, and over 20 acres of open grassland. Hiking trails and picnic tables are on site and year round fishing is available; pedal boating is offered seasonally.

Here, you get to explore architecture, furnishings and objects that speak volumes about the rural life. Managed by the Historic Hope Foundation, this plantation welcomes visitors and offers tours too.
