The Recreation Center at the Lycoming College is meant to serve as a wellness and fitness facility for students. It not only offers wellness and recreation but it also guides students with the professional training required for the same. The center houses a swimming pool, a well-furnished gymnasium, table tennis facility, multi-purpose court for basketball and volleyball, and a technologically equipped event venue. The venue hosts college community activities and it can also be hired for private events. Call for further details.
The St. James Episcopal Church is a graceful church building constructed in 1856. Built with the Gothic Revival style of architecture, it was designed by the famous architect Richard Upjohn. The church has a petite area of 0.3 acre (0.12 hectare) and has been a part of the National Register of Historic Places since 1979. The congregation continues to function till date with regular masses and ceremonies being conducted.
Located in the heart of the city, Muncy Historic District comprises of commercial and residential areas, with structures dating back to the late 1700s. The buildings feature various architectural styles, ranging across Federal, Georgian and Victorian. St. James Episcopal Church, Muncy Presbyterian Church, Clapp-Muncy Historical Society Building and St. Andrew Lutheran Church are part of this historic district. Incorporated in 1985, the Lewisburg Historic District is situated in Lewisburg, Union County, Pennsylvania. It is replete with several houses, monuments, bridges, and commercial and civic buildings. A highlight is the Bucknell campus illustrating a large diversity of architectural styles. Other landmarks include the Lewisburg Cemetery and the Soldiers Memorial Field. Gaining historical vitality over the years, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
