»Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum

Located in West Branch, the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum is dedicated to Herbert Hoover, the 31 st president of the United States. It sits on the Herbert Hoover National Historic Site and has an extensive collection of books from the life and times of only president from Iowa. Spread over an area of 44,500 square feet, it has an auditorium, a conference room and a private meeting room. It also has a permanent gallery exhibiting artifacts from the life of the president as well as another gallery with temporary exhibits of American history. Guided tours of the facility are available.
