The Wenatchee Racquet and Athletic Club started in 1961. The club now offers a multitude of facilities and programs. The WRAC offers three levels of memberships to match member's needs.

River Recreation is a professional whitewater company offering whitewater, float trips, and white-knuckled trips all over the state of Washington. Their focus is class 3 and 4 whitewater, but do run one class 5 river, and offer a class 1 family float trip for younger children. The rivers they run include the Wenatchee, Methow, Skykomish, Green, Skagit, Nooksack, Tieton and the White Salmon. Their deluxe base camp on the banks of the Wenatchee river offers all the amenities you could want in the "wild." It includes a picnic area, camping, showers, Wi-Fi, a hammock corner, your river photos on a flatscreen tv, and indoor changing rooms & restrooms; all on the banks of the Wenatchee River. In addition to whitewater river rafting trips, they offer river rescue classes, river safety services, and river logistical services on rivers all over the state.
Mission Ridge has more than 36 designated runs and 66 acres of snowmaking. The high speed quad ride will take you to the summit.
Located on the northeastern flank of Badger Mountain, this ski area may be small but it guarantees to provide you with endless hours of fun in the snow no matter how old you are. The ski slopes are sponsored by the Waterville Lions and is run solely by volunteers. Once you are done skiing you can grab a quick bite to eat at the Lions Kitchen. Seasonal family passes are available for USD150, and single and daily passes are available for USD60 and USD10. Check the weather before making your way here as the slopes are usually closed if there isn’t enough snowfall.
