The Museum is housed in the historic Paddock Mansion. The museum contains both Paddock family and local history exhibits, spread throughout three floors and within three outbuildings. The outdoor exhibits, open in summer, feature the Early American Barn, Pioneer Cabin, and One-Room Schoolhouse (under construction).
The Seaway Trail Discovery Center is a museum that displays the local history, culture and heritage of the place. Located in the historic Union Hotel, it started operating in 2000. The exhibits here range from the history of lighthouses in the region to the daily lives of people in the area. The museum gives an entire coastal or marine experience to the visitors. Group tours of the museum are available on appointment.
Visit an exhibit of more than 200 freshwater crafts, engines and nautical memorabilia.
This interesting craft museum showcases handwoven fabric and other regional artistry.
Of particular interest at this local history museum is the lovely replica of a turn of the century village square in 1903 town hall.
