George Rogers Clark National Historical Park

It features a 1936 memorial and a visitor center. The circular, granite memorial building with Greek columns is one of the highlights of this historic park. It is said to be built where the Fort Sackville was captured by Lieutenant Colonel George Rogers Clark and his army of 170 men which gave the United States a foothold to the frontier.
