The Portland Metropolitan Exposition Center is Oregon's largest exhibition venue. When the Oregon Convention Center is too cramped for a business meeting or an exhibition, organizers look to Portland Expo Center's 330,000 square feet of floor space. The Expo Center hosts several large consumer events every year, including the Portland Home and Garden Show, Portland Boat Show, as well as gun, antique and animal shows.
Resting within Columbia Park, this community pool brings fun and enjoyment to all. The indoor pool is heated to at least 84 degrees and offers a multitude of healthy activities. With a shallow end only one- and one-half feet deep, it's popular with swimmers who like to keep their feet planted and heads out of the water. Twenty-five yards long, the pool is also popular with avid lap swimmers.

Formerly Pilots Field, this baseball facility was renamed in 2004, in honor of Portland athletic director and long-time head coach Joe Etzel. The stadium was constructed around what is considered one of the best natural grass surfaces in the Portland. The facility has a enclosed, heated press box, batting cages, dugouts, bleachers and concession stands. The field has a seating capacity of 1500 at a time. Harry A. Merlo Field is completely soccer stadium, punctuated with complete entertainment. Home to the Pilots, it has been host to a number of memorable soccer fixtures, the most remarkable being the NCAA Women's Soccer Final Four—1994. Lately, the fully natural grass surfaced venue has been lit up with floodlights, encouraging nights games, thus driving in huge crowds during weekends and promising action packed entertainment. World class facilities has ranked it among the top sporting venues within Portland by Olympic officials.

The Grant High School is a famous and well known school, located in Portland. The school has various academic options such as Science, Maths, Social Studies, Performing Arts, English, Health, Business Marketing among many others. There are facilities for tennis, track racing, baseball and softball here as well to ensure the students have enough time for physical fitness and activities as well. Various clubs such as the Latino Club and National Honor Society encourage participation of students. The school also has a fantastic library, where students can read up on world famous books.
You'll find the Portland Winter Hawks here from September through March. While they're the main attraction on ice, there are other skating shows and competitions here. Concerts and other community events are scheduled throughout the year in this little cousin of the Rose Garden. Located near the Convention Center in Northeast Portland, the stadium is an oval-shaped coliseum encased by a large glass housing. It keeps Portlanders dry and comfortable while they're being entertained. Next to the Rose Garden, it's the biggest draw to the Rose Quarter.
