»Al Stewart

March 29, 2015 8:00 PM

Al Stewart is a Scottish folk-rock singer-songwriter that rose to fame during Britain's folk revival during the 60s and 70s. Stewart's musical persona reminds one of a traveling bard from times of yore, as much of his songs deal with great figures and historical events set to folk-rock music. Despite being best known for his hit 1976 single "Year of the Cat," Al Stewart is almost universally considered as one of, if not the, key figure in the development of British folk-rock.

»Mompreneur Mastermind Of Atlanta Meetup

March 29, 2015 7:30 PM

Welcome, mompreneurs! Our format: we typically have a brief guest speaker who's been through what you're going through now - a local mompreneur who can share her experiences, coaches who can answer your burning questions, etc. Then, we break into small groups for some unblocking masterminding!  *Please make note of the food/beverage purchase info below, which serves as your "admission." Network your business, and get clarity as we mastermind! Please note that we are NOT just another networking group, however. While it's one purpose of our group, our core goal is to support and be supported by other moms who GET IT. Based on group feedback, we want to ensure that only serious, committed moms will come and deter those just looking for another free place to pass out business cards. ;) *Instead of charging admission, please come prepared to purchase food or beverages from Java Vino, which will go toward the cost of our meeting space. Make sure to tell the barista that you are with our group so we will get the room credit (thanks!). Please bring one thing to GIVE (a tip or recent victory that could help the others) and one thing to GET (ask a question and get feedback on your biz from the group). *FREE - except for food/beverages - and fun! Kids stay at home; this is for YOU. Show up in yoga pants if you want; were all moms, so we get it. Regardless of what kind of business you have or what stage your business is in, lets all grow together. All mompreneurs are welcome. (No dads at this time; sorry!) Please invite your mompreneur friends! We meet in the downstairs private room at Java Vino - just ask the barista if you need help finding it if you come in through the main front entrance. We'll try to have the outside door to the room open as well so you can enter from the parking lot in the rear if you wish. Java Vino says extra parking is available nextdoor (the Manuel's Tavern overflow lot).
