Henry's Bar and Grill has been a staple of downtown Louisville for decades and its staying power is easy to understand; low prices, good, filling food, and friendly atmosphere are great draws to this little grill! Located right in the middle of the downtown area, Henry's is small and unassuming, but worth a visit during your day downtown. The menu is simple bar food but all is prepared with care and made to be delicious. Furthermore, the drink menu is extensive and ranges from local brews to favorite beers, wines, and mixers. Henry's is busiest during sports games but still worth a visit any time. If you're looking for a drink, snack, or full meal while you explore, check it out. - Sabrina Zirakzadeh
The Huckleberry is the only British tea room and restaurant in the Boulder area. Located in the heart of downtown Louisville, the restaurant is easy to find and an enjoyable diversion from wandering the other local shops and museums in the area. However, the popularity of the Huckleberry makes it difficult to just "pop in" without prior planning. The menu offers full British breakfasts and Colorado favorites alike, comfort food entrees served in the British style, and rich, freshly made desserts and wine for a full dining experience. The afternoon tea is the real draw, offering sandwiches, cheeses, and other snacks alongside the usual tea cakes and sweets. However, while the food is delicious, the prices are a bit high, with very little outside the breakfast menu costing less than USD10. -Sabrina Zirakzadeh
Cafe de Paris, located in the middle of Downtown Louisville, is a lovely international coffeehouse in a fantastic location. Within easy walking distance of all of the old town area, Cafe de Paris offers a place to stop for drinks or a small meal whether you've been shopping, browsing the historical district, visiting the park, or even bar-hopping in the evening. The coffee is made from fresh, organic beans, the sandwiches range from crab and cheese melts to eggplant and polenta, wine and beer are available alongside the hot and iced drinks, and live music and other events are scheduled five nights a week or more. Cafe de Paris is quite small but does not to reservations before dinner so be prepared to wait or put in your name and enjoy exploring the area in the meantime. For a quick, European-style bite, this is a great place to try. - Sabrina Zirakzadeh

Crash 45 is a versatile venue that puts on many hats and is successful at everything that it tries out. A restaurant/bar that also doubles up as an art gallery is fast gaining popularity. The funky lighting system and generous use of red and bright golden colors all over the place adds a lively vibe to it. Designed by Shane Evans, Crash 45 is made from recycled and old stuff including parts of old trucks, bicycles and vintage bikes, that further adds to its coolness quotient. Its menu is a typical pub fare including dishes like Asian Dan Wings, burgers and so forth. And last but not the least are the unique events hosted here; motorcycle nights, art openings, DJ sessions and other events are a regular feature here. You can also hire Crash 45 for private events and celebrations. For more details, call ahead or check its website.
Set in a historic bricked-building that dates back to 1894, The Sidewinder Tavern continues the legacy of the Golobvich and Slogar Saloon. This site was always a watering hole and was used for private events as well. Cut to the 21st Century, it is now a modern tavern where you can enjoy beers during happy hours, watch a game and dig into some pub grub. It is also where you can tap your feet to live music and have a fun time out with your friends.
One of the few live music bars in Arvada, Jammin Joe's packs a punch by hosting some scintillating performances of independent bands on its stage.
