»Rain: A Tribute To The Beatles (Touring)

April 22, 2015 7:30 PM

RAIN - The Beatles Experience is a Beatles tribute show based in New York City that evolved from a California-based club band called Reign, one of the West Coast's most popular and sought after Beatles cover bands in the 1970s. Although the band had no connection to the popular Beatlemania Broadway show, the members of Reign would later recruit some performers from the Broadway production for their own show RAIN in the 1980s. After nearly two decades of performances throughout the world, RAIN - The Beatles Experience is still generally considered to be one of the best Beatles tribute acts showing on Broadway today.

»Eagle 102.3 and G105.7 Rockin Country Friday Night Featuring Buckcherry

April 24, 2015 9:30 PM

Formed in Los Angeles in 1995, Buckcherry is a rock band that received commercial success with its 1999 self-titled debut album. Despite its early boost in record sales, the band dissolved in 2002 after a disappointing sophomore effort and an unfinished third album. During the hiatus, front man Josh Todd and guitarist Kieth Nelson collaborated on other projects including a short run with Guns N' Roses members that was eventually canned. Todd and Nelson reformed Buckcherry in 2005 and released the album 15 to the same enthusiasm and critical acclaim as the band's debut effort. With its rediscovered success, the band toured as part of Mötley Crüe's Crüe Fest, shortly after releasing Black Butterlfy in 2008, and accompanied KISS on its 2009 to 2010 North American tour. Buckcherry dropped its fifth studio album All Night Long, in 2010.

Formed in Tennessee in 2004, when lead singer Haley Williams was still in high school, Paramore packs a punch of pop-punk goodness. Influenced by the addicting power pop sounds of the 1990s and the edge of late 1970s punk, Paramore produces music that is catchy without falling flat by showcasing Williams' clear and well controlled voice. Often compared to the armies of young emo bands, listeners will surely appreciate the different direction Paramore has taken to separate themselves from over-emotional, angst-ridden rock.

»Particle (Spring Tour 2015)

April 29, 2015 8:00 PM

Along with peers like Sound Tribe Sector 9 and The New Deal, Los Angeles-based band Particle is one of the bands responsible for fusing elements of rock, jazz and funk along with electronica elements to create a unique style of music that has been dubbed livetronica. Founded in 2000, the group would build a name and a strong fan base for itself before entering the studio to record its debut album, Launchpad, in 2004. Known primarily as a live band, Particle concerts typically feature extended instrumental solos and vast jams that find the group dipping in and out of musical styles and straddling the genre gamut.
