When Franklin D. Roosevelt was President, he spent a great deal of time in the warm healing springs located in the small town of Warm Springs. So much time, in fact, that he built himself a home here and named it the Little White House. Roosevelt carried out much of his administration from this tranquil spot, which is also where he died. The house, which functions as a museum, has on display Roosevelt's incomplete portrait along with many photos from his administration.
A large collection of books, magazines, newspapers, and reference materials are housed at this full service library that also offers a wide range of programs for both adults and children.
