Maine Acadian Culture preserves the Maine Acadian heritage in the St. John River Valley. Acadian culture manifests itself through all that the area has to offer. This site features various landmarks like Historic Governor Brann Schoolhouse, Le Club Français and Acadian Village. This heritage site is managed and operated by the Acadia National Park.
The St. David Catholic Church is a historic church building which was established in 1911. Spread over a modest area of 1 acre (0.40 hectare), it has a mix of Italian Baroque and Renaissance styles of architecture. Although no longer an active congregation, it became a part of the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
The Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park is located right at the confluence of Saguenay River and the Saint Lawrence River. This national park is maintained jointly by Société des établissements de plein air du Québec (Sépaq) and Parks Canada.
Bic National Park is located along the St Lawrence River and is bestowed with lovely landscapes and scenic beauty. This park is a natural treasure trove and if you are lucky, you will sight seals that have come ashore to enjoy sun.
