This friendly and healthy restaurant offers Korean fare, and more, with flair. The interior is simply appointed with white walls and pop art. The bi bim bahp, shredded, marinated veggies served over steamed rice with spicy bean paste, is not to be passed up. There is also jahp chae, clear noodles and rice, Korean short ribs, teriyaki fish, focaccia sandwiches, salads and even burgers to choose from. Located on the DC side of the Maryland-District line, Takoma Station has long been hosting some of the finest local jazz acts in the area. This street-level establishment glows with blond wood and soft lighting. The large crowds that gather here can be seen from the street through a large plate-glass window. Although jazz is usually the featured entertainment, R&B and reggae acts also appear regularly. Sneakers and athletic wear are strictly prohibited.
