The idea of an Olde Town Morrow was born in 2006 after residents of the city of Morrow insisted on a downtown area. Immediately a plan was put into action by Ernest Duffey along a 17 acre space which identified the old buildings. This pedestrian-designated area was revitalized to resemble an entertainment/cultural district replete with establishments such as ice cream parlors, bars, clubs, shops, boutiques etc. Festivals such as Christmas, Halloween and Easter are celebrated with immense pomp and show, attracting tourists and locals in plenty.
Located in McDonough, the Eagles Landing First Baptist Church believes in building and enhancing man's relationship with God. It hosts separate prayer service dedicated to adults and children. The church has also established an association called LifeGroups comprising various groups to suit individual preferences. While not a plantation in the classic, antebellum sense, this landmark home has witnessed over 100 years of Atlanta history. Built in 1879, the construction made use of over a million bricks, and required almost a year to complete. In 2008 Pastor Luke S. Hall received a message from God telling him to form a church and a year later this vision was realized. Pastor Hall along with nine members founded the New Vision Christian Church in 2009. Since then the church has grown to house a large congregation of more than 350 members. The aim of the church is to spread Christian principles to the community and work for its development. Apart from weekly services, sermons and ministries, social outreach is an important part of the New Vision Christian Church.

Since then, this beautiful church has transformed into a major religious and cultural hub of Decatur. It has diverse ministries for spiritual development of women, children and young adults. Alumni of Decatur's Wadsworth Elementary School, came together to form the Greenforest Community Baptist Church in 1958. The early church was established on the school grounds itself. With Reverend McCalep at the helm, work on establishing a new church began in 1989, and a few years later, members of the Greenforest Community Baptist Church could boast of a beautiful 94-acre (38.04-hectare) property on Rainbow Drive. Regular weekly services, youth meets and activities, Sunday school and events inculcating Christian principles are conducted here.

GB Event Facility is a premier venue that offers four spaces that are suited for private banquets, receptions and gatherings. Each of the four rooms are well equipped to handle large groups. The maximum capacity of the venue is 500. There are six bars that successfully cater to the events.
