Frank's Diner is a diner with a twist, you'll dine in an elegant Northern Pacific Railroad car. The car has been converted into a diner, but with all of the charm of 1906 railroad car. The diner serves American cuisine, try the Chicken Pot Pie or Chicken Fried Steak.

The Steam Plant Grill was originally a steam plant that provided heat and electricity to Spokane until 1986. The plant was not used for ten years and then was recreated to house offices and the Steam Plant Grill. The restaurant features its unusual setting, but contains contemporary and comfortable furniture. The restaurant offers American cuisine and brews their own beers.
Post Street Ale House serves up extra-cold pints of beers (there are 20 types on rotating tap) and very reasonably priced food, all in a charmingly rustic setting. Found in the lovely Hotel Russo, pop in and try their specialty, deep fried pickles, served with the Ale House Sauce. There is also a tasty selection of burgers and sandwiches, dinner entrees (including the Guinness Braised Short Ribs) and some homey desserts, including the old favorite, the root beer float. Housed in the charming red brick Atrium building is this old-style European bakery and restaurant. It specializes in Italian cuisine and has become a fast favorite with locals. The pizza is generally excellent, with a good selection of vegetarian options and calzones. Interestingly, the restaurant has an in-house dessert chef so it is well worth trying whatever the night's specialty is. Prices are very reasonable; the bakery is well worth checking out as well, with its mouthwatering selection of cakes and pastries. Call for opening hours.
Twigs offers an eclectic menu that provides a variety of choices. They only use the freshest local ingredients available. The martini bar features martinis with top shelf ingredients. They hand-stuff their olives and have a menu of 24 different martinis.
