Stanton’s Mill was built circa 1797 and was in function till 1994. This historic flour mill was restored to its 1850s appearance by miller John Childers and is run on electricity. The water wheel though not in use adds another charm to this place. It was over the years the focal point for village life and was used for various things such as a voting station and a distillery.
