The St. John’s College lies nestled at the base of the Monte Sol mountains, just outside the city limits. One of the premier liberal arts colleges in the country, St. John’s College was originally established as King William’s School in 1696, but later established as St. John’s College in Annapolis, MD in 1784. The Santa Fe
campus was created in order to manage the over-whelming number of graduate applicants in Annapolis. Today, this college boasts a 250-acre (101-hectare) campus, surrounded by natural beauty, and sequestered, essentially, from the bustling city center. See the website to find information on the college’s programs and other details.
