Cheatham Street Warehouse is not an unusual bar but still there's lot you can look forward to. A laid-back attitude is personified by the body-language of the people, but yet after a while it's a loud and a lively environment. The seating arrangements are mainly pointing towards the small stage, where many talented singers and musician from the local are do their bit live, entertaining the people and interacting with them as well. The drinks are available in plenty, not expensive at all, while the service here is fairly good. It's great place to have a drink or two.
The Green Parrot on LBJ Drive is one of the hippest night haunts in San Marcos. The bar here offers stellar concoctions while the kitchen brings out nothing-out-of-the-usual yet tasty pub grub and the DJ spins likable tracks, making the Green Parrot, all in all, a great hang! You can either dance the night away on their vast dance floor or sit back and relax with a bunch of close pals while nursing a pint; this one's not to be missed when in San Marcos.

Despite the rather inexpensively priced drinks and no cover charges, Billy's supports charities which is why it is perhaps one of New Braunfels best loved bars.
Faust Brewing Company is a brewery, hotel and pub all rolled into one. The brewery started out as a hotel for weary travelers in 1929. Today, it is an ideal place to stay at or visit with its close proximity to several tourist attractions in town.
