»Joshua Radin

March 04, 2015 8:00 PM

Joshua Radin is a musician, singer and author from the United States. He's close friends with director and actor Zach Braff (Scrubs), who has supported him throughout his career. In fact, he received a lot of attention when his single was featured on an episode of the TV series Scrubs. Many others followed and his career has been very rewarding. While touring he has shared the stage with Tori Amos, Sheryl Crow and Maria Taylor, just to name a few.Radin released his debut We Were Here early in 2006. All his songs have a folky feel to them, and possess faint remnants of Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens and Simon and Garfunkel. Distorted vocal sounds are his trademark.

This is an exciting opportunity to meet face-to-face the next generation of entrepreneurs in Health IT, as well as other investors and mentors in the industry. The Venture Forum will feature pitches from the 12 early-stage ventures in the Village Capital-TMC Health IT 2015 program, and will include an audience of investors, mentors, potential customers, and members of the greater Salt Lake City community. The Venture Forum will be followed by a reception for all attendees.   About the Program Village Capital has teamed up with the Texas Medical Center, Arches Health Plan, Chilton Capital Management, and the Rice Alliance to bridge the health-wealth gap. We have selected 12 startups based all around the country for a unique program that allows the innovators themselves to choose the two ventures that receive funding.    Over the course of the 12-week program from December 2014 to March 2015, entrepreneurs will focus on building their businesses and improving their ability to scale by participating in workshops and receiving mentoring from other local entrepreneurs, investors, and business leaders. The entrepreneurs will then assess one another against six criteria, with the top two ranking companies receiving $50,000 each in pre-committed capital at the end of the program.    About Texas Medical Center The largest medical complex in the world, the Texas Medical Center is internationally recognized and home to many of the nations best hospitals, physicians, educational institutions, researchers, and the largest concentration of life-sciences experts.
