Formerly known as Drakes Creek Baptist Church, this church has been serving the Baptist Christian community of Bowling Green. The church, established in 1911, was deigned by architect William Burton, after whom this sacred home is named. Burton Memorial Baptist Church features a beautiful white-stone facade, with stain glass windows. Apart from Sunday Eucharist celebrations, community events are regularly conducted at this church.

Governors Stadium seats 10,000 people and is the resident of the Austin Peay State University Governors. The stadium was originally called the Municipal Stadium and was owned by the City of Nashville and was rented out to Austin Peay State University for the amount it would cost the city. The University eventually purchased Governors Stadium in 1993.
Winfield Dunn Center is named after the famous Governor Winfield Dunn who strongly supported sports and education. The massive center houses within it an indoor track, batting cage, multipurpose practice and rehabilitation facilities, athletics department and locker rooms for the athletics.
