Foreigner is responsible for creating some of the most memorable juke box anthems of the 1980s. Songs like "Hot Blooded," "Cold as Ice" and "Double Vision" helped cement the British-American band as a premier pop rock group that writes catchy songs with easy-to-sing lyrics. Though the band's popularity peaked in the late-1970s/early-1980s, the group still soldiers on and continues to play its easily recognizable tunes to throngs of adoring, yet somewhat aged fans.

A Southern California native, Gary Allan should logically not be a Nashville country star, but growing up with a father who played honky tonk at various bars, eventually incorporating his son into his live acts, it was only natural that Allen would find his niche in the country music world. Before finding fame and while playing small venues, Gary Allan took a job selling used cars. With aspirations of making it big, Allan did everything to spread his name. At one point Allen put a demo tape of his into a used car that he sold to a wealthy couple. The two were so impressed with the demo, they gave him $12,000 to travel to Nashville to properly record his songs. Allan did just that, and before he knew it he had a professional recording contract with a major label.

John Gorka is a folk singer/songwriter from Edison, New Jersey who was named by Rolling Stone magazine in 1991 as "the preeminent male singer-songwriter of what has been dubbed the New Folk Movement." Since debuting and taking first place at the Kerrville Folk Festival in 1984, he has since toured with several of the most renowned solo acts in contemporary American folk. In addition to being extremely popular in folk circles throughout the US, John Gorka has also toured the Netherlands and Ireland, where he also commands an extensive following.

Best known as a founding member and the lead singer of The Jayhawks, Gary Louris is singer/songwriter and musician from Ohio. One of two members of The Jayhawks to stay with the band for the duration of its existence from 1985 to its come back tour in 2011, Louris has found time for several different projects including Golden Smog and various collaborations with Mark Olson, the original vocalist of The Jayhawks. Louris dropped his debut solo album Vagabonds, in 2008 with a distinguishable 1970s rock sound fused with alternative country twang.
