True to its name, the Downtown Deli is a deli located in the downtown area of Bluffton. However, it sets itself apart from the competition in a number of ways. First, it serves breakfast all day long, a fact every good chow hound can appreciate. Next, though the sandwiches it serves are nothing out of the ordinary, many are spiced up with regionally significant names like "The Lowcountry Club" and "The 278 Traffic Jam" (which, disappointingly, does not include jam). They also offer specialties from other farflung locales, such as Buffalo Wings, a Reuben, and "The Ultimate Philly." They make no bones about professing their desire for your business (the menu shouts "Be a Regular!!!"), but thanks to the quality of the grub, they don't have to twist your arm. So come on in and, as their website says, "Phasellus felis ipsum!"
