The St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church is a historic church located in Wilder, Kentucky. The present stone church was built in 1858, and the parish mainly consisted of immigrant German families. The Georgian style church also served as a defense outpost during the Civil War. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Established in 1895, on site of an even older church, the unfinished basilica is a beautiful Late Gothic structure, on Madison Avenue.
