This unique museum provides visitors with a hands-on tour through over 100 years of providing communication to the homes and businesses in this area.
New art exhibits and artist receptions are presented monthly at this gallery that also features an exceptional collection of Springmaid Advertising memorabilia and offers classes and workshops for all ages. Arts and sciences camps are also available.
A 15,000 square foot facility in historic downtown Lancaster. It features gallery spaces, archives, classrooms, and archaeology, language, and audio-visual labs. The NAS Center will be open Tuesdays through Sundays and Mondays by appointment.
Featuring a scale model replica of the original 29 mile route of The Lancaster & Chester Railway, this museum features a variety of photographs and memorabilia highlighting the history of the railway since its inception in 1896.
The Museum of York County, which opened in the year 1950, was originally meant to lure young kids into knowing more about their rich culture and heritage. But gradually the museum expanded and has now become a learning ground for both kids and adults. Apart from the arts and science exhibits, there are also presentations on the natural and cultural history, African artifacts displays and much more. Weekends are even more fun as the Settlemyre Planetarium will take you into the magic world of stars and the cosmos. The museum also holds summer camps and private birthday party celebrations for children.
