Opened in June 2011, The Sound Garden Studio is a dream come true for aspiring musicians and bands who can record their samples in the well-equipped studios. Not just that, the 150-seater concert hall is a sure winner with its super acoustics and plush environs. The city of Bend can rejoice at the arrival of the Sound Garden Studio which looks promising.
A neoclassical Beaux Arts style building, this two-story brick structure has a high basement and high windows continuing around the building. The main entrance features three round head archways with high brick columns on a cut-stone foundation. The main wall of the building behind the portico is embellished with sculptured cut stone and Doric-style stone caps. This unusual architecture and history has earned Old Bend High School a place in the National Register of Historic Places. The building opened its gates in 1925 as a public high school until 1956 when it was re-christened as a junior high school. Currently, the building is the administrative headquarters for the Bend La-Pine School District.

The Belfry is the brainchild of Angeline Rhett, who transformed a 1914 church into a beautiful concert and event venue. Its stained glass windows, high ceilings, wooden accents and Chinese lanterns lend it an elegant look. Its excellent acoustics make it a premier space for live music.
