The Ochoco National Forest comprises of 850,000 acres (343,983 hectares) of land which includes dense pine forest. The forest contains three wilderness areas that are home to exotic flora and fauna. This beautiful ski resort located on the Mount Bachelor spreads over a 1000 acres (404 hectares) of land. It is said to be one of the largest ski resorts in Oregon. Due to its defying province and amazing snow conditions, the Mount Bachelor is a training center for skiers at a professional level.
