Located within the original campus of the State University of New York, the Hawkins Hall was originally built as a school. This site currently is one of the most stunning destinations to tour. Along with the academic programs, classromms and art galleries, with a major auditorium, this hall is a distinctive feature of the campus. The site also offers several academic programs too.
Popularly known as the heart of downtown Plattsburgh, the First Presbyterian Historic Church is a historic structure. Following a Sunday worship every week and also conducting a fellowship and Sunday Class for people of all ages the church offers a great worship experience and also learning new things about the Lord, the church and the Bible.
City Hall of Plattsburgh was erected in 1917, this classical revival style building was designed by architect John Russell Pope. It was incorporated in the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

Any trip to Lake Champlain should definitely include a visit to Bluff Point Lighthouse, a historic structure distinctive for its red-shingled roof and blue limestone base. Since its construction in 1874, it has also been known as Valcour Island Light. Today, it is managed by the Clinton County Historical Association and is open for tours.

The Adsit Cabin, located in Willsboro Point, was built in 1778. This log cabin is one of the oldest of its kind in the country. It was the home of veteran Samuel Adsit after the American Revolutionary War. It features on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Waterfront Park has 2 advantages; a downtown Burlington location and that too, right by the river. Benches set along the 900 foot stretch let you sit and take in some spectacular sunsets. Life whizzes by as skaters speed down the boardwalk, friends amble long and kids race each other. Festivals and community events are often organized against the surreal backdrop of this park that totally capitalizes on its location. When the sun goes down, grab a bite at the many snack stands and sink into the grass while the strains of live music play in the background.
