Located at the heart of the town Wanganui, the Sarjeant Gallery is a contemporary art gallery focused on showcasing the works of young talent to the world. The gallery also comprises of a collection of 5,500 artworks ranging from the 16th Century European art to the 21st Century New Zealand art. Among these are the works of sculptures, paintings, pottery, ceramics, video art, digital printing and other contemporary medium used to depict art.
