This little pizzeria in South KC brings a little NYC flavor to the Midwest with its original thin, chewy crust pizzas. Inside it is quite small and there are only a few stools, however most people order pies for take-out or come in to grab a quick slice. The pizzas are simple ones topped with only a few ingredients, some include the classic Margherita, pepperoni and sausage and many more.
Foo's Frozen Custard is better than ice cream. It's thicker, creamier, and richer, and it comes in many different forms. Especially good are the concretes (super frozen custard mixed with any flavor you want) and slurries made with all natural fruit. Flavors include any fruit or nut you can think of, along with chocolate or mint. They also have hot and cold coffee drinks. If you want to wait until after lunch for this great dessert, a lunch menu is available with sandwiches, croissants, wraps, and soups. -Robin Sontheimer
