Orville Richard Burrell is a Jamaican-born singer/songwriter and rapper who releases music under the moniker Shaggy. Shortly after relocating to Brooklyn, New York at the age of 18, he enlisted in the US Marine Crops and served in the Persian Gulf War, during which he embraced his affinity for singing to endure the monotony of military service. Upon returning to the states he decided to pursue music as a career and released his debut album Pure Pleasure, in 1993. Shaggy saw his first major hit with the title track of the Grammy Award-winning albumBoombastic, in 1995, and became a certified pop star with his 2000 album Hot Shot. His fusion of reggae, hip-hop, R&B and pop sounds, particularly on tracks like "Angel" and "Wasn't Me," resonated with a world-wide audience throughout the decade. Although his mainstream appeal has faded into the 2010s, he continues to release his signature brand of contemporary R&B on albums such as 2012's Rise.
Nonpoint is a heavy metal band that forged a name for itself in the bustling metal scene of South Florida with its formula of nu metal and hard rock. Formed in 1998 as trio, the band independently released its debut album, Separate Yourself, before signing with the late Jugular Records and releasing Struggle, in 1999. When its label decayed only a year later, the band signed with major label MCA Records and released Statement, in 2000 and embarked on a national tour that included appearances on the Ozzfest tour of 2001. With each subsequent album, Nonpoint began to break into the realm of mainstream rock, particularly at the middle to end of the 2000s with the release of 2005's To the Pain, and 2007's Vengeance.

Based on a film of the same name, La Cage aux Folles is a musical that took Broadway by storm in 1983. The story begins when a man decides to bring his fiance's ultra-conservative family to meet his father, the owner of a drag-queen friendly night club. As the club owner attempts to tone down his flamboyant and outlandish lifestyle, the young couple's impending marriage is threatened by the clashing of conservative and liberal ideals. Filled with lavish costumes, musical numbers and vibrant stage sets, La Cage aux Folles is a hilarious musical production about being true to yourself.
