This beautiful Episcopal church was built in 1900 with the Carpenter Gothic style of architecture. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2008 because of its historic and architectural significance. The church is fully functional even today and regular services are carried out.
Located parallel to the Ocean City inlet and along the Boardwalk, the Ocean City Inlet Parking Lot is not just a mere parking space but also a host to festivals and events during summers which attracts tourists and locals alike. The 4 day Springfest invites people to enjoy the pleasant and friendly atmosphere of the city amidst the backdrop of music, food and cultural activities. Apart from the fest, the place is also features concerts and other cultural activities all throughout the year.
Included in the National Register of Historic Places, the Berlin Commercial District is one of important areas of the city. As the name suggests, this district features commercial buildings that were constructed in the late 19th Century.
The Lewes Historical Society is a reputed organization that has been preserving and maintaining the city's heritage sites since 1961. The society is responsible for maintaining nearly twelve historic houses and museums that are considered a precious heritage of the city. Besides preserving these archaic edifices, The Lewes Historical Society also organizes various local events such as art and craft exhibitions, fairs, festivals and special events on a regular basis.
