    Mineral Hall

    4340 Oak Street
    Kansas City, MO 64111

Built in 1903 as a private home to wealthy mining industrialist, R. E. Bruner, the Mineral Hall is almost a landmark in Kansas City. The building proudly sports the what is said to be one of the most photographed doors in the state. Interestingly, the place gets its name from its library that apparently has walls embedded with various minerals. It now serves as an office for Kansas City Art Institute.
