It is quite hard to find a state-of-the-art performing arts venue in a high school. The Performing Arts Center at the Niagara Falls High School, however, is quite an exception. Accommodating 1700 guests, it boasts of plush interiors, a beautiful stage and superior sound and technical facilities. A concert or stage performance here makes for no less an experience than at any regular theater. It is generally used for school performances, dance recitals and plays. However, it has the potential to become a venue for bigger performances as well. This is amply displayed by the magnificent annual performance at the Center by the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.

Fortunately, the group Save our Sites in Niagara Falls saved the building, which is now listed on the state and national historic registers.
