A borough in Monmouth County, New Jersey, it is named after James A. Bradley, who was the developer of the beach in the late 19th Century. The shore town was incorporated in the year 1893. Since the early 1900s, it has been a popular summer resort town for tourists from New York and Philadelphia. It has clean, swim-friendly beaches, lifeguards, shopping, plenty of dining and accommodation facilities. The year round population of 5000 goes up to 30,000 during summers.
