Formerly known as REC Video, Blockbuster, this is not. This small Hell's Kitchen independent video store specializes in hard-to-find cult films whether they be Anime, Blaxploitation, Kung-fu or creature features. They also offer plenty of classic films from the 1930s, '40s, '50s and '60s and nostalgia television. Like most independent video stores, they have an adult section, but here it is mostly adult cartoons, vintage erotica and other exotic titles.

This upscale market became so popular so quickly that the owners opened two other locations (one on the Eastside and one in the Wall Street area). The store offers a bevy of gourmet foods, including a prepared food bar. The seafood and meat selections are incredible, as are the fresh baked breads section and a wide array of olives by the pound. Always fresh, their fruits and vegetables are sold at farmers' market prices. Offering many ethnic foods and cooking supplies from Italian to Thai, a visit to the Amish is always a treat.
