Christian Webster is a rapper from Fairfield County,Connecticutwho goes by the stage name Chris Webby. Webster, originally operating under themonikerVindictive, grew up listening to artists such as Dr. Dre and Eminem and was known for engaging his peers in rap battles. Beginning with his debut album, The White Noise LP, released in 2009, Webster has released a steady flow of music. In the two years following his debut, he dropped five more full length mix tapes including Optimus Rhyme in 2010 and the 2011 effort, Webster's Laboratory. Though his music initially catered to the audience in his home state, Webster multiplied his fans, whom he calls "Ninjas," throughout the US with his free downloads and online presence on Youtube.

An informal gathering of Music Enthusiasts.  Please go to our web site for more general information about the weekend:  www.folkmusicny.org.  (a downloadble mail-in registration is also available there).  The Weekend includes all meals, starting with dinner at 7pm on Friday and ending with lunch on Sunday.  All rooms have private baths.  Session Rates do not include lodging or meals -- please contact the Hotel directly for meal reservations in the same dining room as we are using (845-626-8888). "Friends" rate: There is a special arrangement for any group of 3 or more people age 21 through 35 -- designed to allow friends to come with a group of people they know.  All reservations at this special rate must be in by January 22, 2015 and the number of tickets at these rates is limited.  This page is for reservations by both members of the Folk Music Society and non-members, please choose the appropriate item.  Children's prices are the same for both members and non-members.  For membership information, please go to www.folkmusicny.org. or join online through eventbrite at http://fmsny.eventbrite.com/ Payment in full is required with reservation. All the fee but $10 is refundable until 1/17/15. All the fee but $45 is refundable until 1/24/15.  No refunds after that date, unless space is filled.

Natural Vibrations is a ska band from Kahalu'u, Hawaii that combines elements of classic reggae, rock and traditional Hawaiian music to craft a root-based sound. Formed in 1993, the six-piece outfit released its debut album Balls Rolling, in 1996 and has since garnered fervent acclaim in its home state as one of Hawaii's premier reggae acts. By the time Natural Vibrations released its seventh studio album Got This Music, in 2011, its music had caught on in the mainland of the US, allowing the band to embark on its first national tour in 2013.
