Consecrated in 1852, Mt. Zion Christian Church has been serving the Christian community in Richmond for more than 100 years. Events like children's Day and Mother's Day, are celebrated with great enthusiasm at this church; this nurtures stronger bonds amongst its members. Along with regular Sunday masses, special children and women's meets are also organized.

The church building dates back to 1830 and was built by Robert Russel. It was established by the Sisters of Divine Providence and offers programs for students from pre-kindergarten to the eighth grade. Their curriculum has an emphasis on academic as well as extra-curricular development. The school’s commitment and work towards the conservation of the environment has largely been recognized.
Tates Creek Baptist Church is located at Richmond, Kentucky. It was built in 1851 C.E and was built in a Greek Revival style of architecture. The church got listed on the National Registrar of Historic Places on February 08, 1989.

Roberts Chapel is a quaint little church sitting amidst a vast open space. Built 1845, it shows the Greek Revival and Gothic Revival styles of architecture. The interiors and the exteriors compliment each other and give the building an antique look. Regular services and other religious practices are carried at the church even today.

Located to the west of Nicholasville, Mount Pleasant Baptist Church has been a sacred sanctuary for the citizens for more than 200 years. The church group was originally formed in 1767, but the church was established, over 100 years later, in the latter half of the 1880s. The church comes alive with a plethora of events on Sundays, like mass and Sunday School. On weekdays too, this church plays host to activities like Bible meets, youth and children festivities, choir practice and more.
