West Virginia University's Creative Arts Center is home to the College of Creative Arts, which is comprised of the Divisions of Art, Music, and Theatre and Dance. Over 500 performances are held here yearly as well as monthly art exhibitions. Tours are available.

The Monongalia Arts Center (MAC) is a non-profit arts and culture center serving Morgantown and Monongalia County. Classes in both the visual and performing arts are offered at the MAC, which is also home of the Benedum Gallery and Tanner Theatre. The MAC building, a 1913 Neo-classic, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Morgantown Event Center is a significant venue that hosts many community events, business meetings, consumer shows and so on. Mylan Park is a large green space and venue to some of the biggest community events in town. What was formerly a coal mining ground, now provides athletic facilities, an expo center and other state-of-the-art services. Started by Owen Schmitt and The Davisson Brothers Band, this restaurant is also a music hall that hosts a number of big concerts, both of local acts and national artists. They constantly have some show on so do check their event calender for upcoming shows.
Marvin's Mountaintop is one of the best music festival venues most music enthusiasts have ever known. The venue is home to the annual All Good Music Festival which is a camp-out extravaganza. Over the years, the likes of Dark Star Orchestra, Fort Knox Five, Umphrey's McGee, The Pimps Of Joytime, The Lee Boys and many more have graced the stage here. This annual, highly anticipated October art show offers a juried, fine art exhibit, of paintings, photos, and 3-dimensional works by artists in West Virginia and surrounding states. Ribbons, cash, or gift certificates are given in amateur, professional, and student divisions. The show has received glowing reviews and the public enjoys the diversity in technique, style, and level of accomplishment of all the artists.
