Fort Gaddis is located at South Union Township, Pennsylvania. It is the oldest known building in Fayette County and is also the second oldest log cabin in Western Pennsylvania. It was built by Colonel Thomas Gaddis between the years 1769-74 C.E. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 26, 1974 as the Thomas Gaddis Homestead.
