Open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. The museum preserves and promotes local and regional history with rotating exhibits, and permanent displays.

Watts Museum is dedicated to preserving and promoting the social, cultural, and technological history of the coal, oil, and natural gas industries of the state of West Virginia through the collection, preservation, research, and exhibition of objects relevant to these industries."

Located in the home of former sheriffs of Marion County, this museum is operated by the Historical Society of Marion County. Rooms in the house are furnished in the styles of different eras with an emphasis on West Virginia history. Open Monday through Saturday Memorial Day through Labor Day. Open Monday through Friday Labor Day through Memorial Day. No admission is charged.
