»Brewers Playoffs - Wild Card Game (If Necessary - Date Tbd)

    October 01, 2014 1:00 PM

The Milwaukee Brewers are a Major League Baseball team and a member of the National League Central Division. The team was originally established in 1969 as the Seattle Pilots. After only one season, the team went bankrupt, was sold, and moved to Milwaukee. Up until 1997, the Brewers were members of the American League but switched to the National League before the 1998 season. Some of the best players in Brewers' history include Robin Yount and Paul Molitor, both of whom are Hall of Famers.

    »The Australian Pink Floyd Show

    October 01, 2014 8:00 PM

Based in Adelaide, this Pink Floyd tribute band has experienced a long, tumultuous history, but continues to crank out classic Pink Floyd covers. The Australian Pink Floyd Show (TAPFS) started in 1988 and has had quite an intensive band member turnover rate since then. TAPFS' recipe for success is in its replication of the unique sounds of Pink Floyd: the group creates the bell and jackhammer sounds, for example, with metronomes and synthesizers. The group has seen such praise as being called the "best tribute band in the world" and tours globally.

With a full band sound that pulls upon the strengths of the group's horn section, JJ Grey & Mofro put its stamp on modern soul/blues music with a distinctly modern approach to erstwhile grooves. Formed in Florida in the late 1990s, the band has experimented with a number of music styles including Southern rock, R&B and funk before landing on a easily accessible style that has won the group fans from across the country. JJ Grey & Mofro released its first two records, starting with its 2001 debut Blackwater, with Fog City Records before switching to the Alligator label and releasing a string of records including 2011's Brighter Days.

    »Deathtrap

    October 02, 2014 8:00 PM

The long-running Broadway hit "Deathtrap" has been slaying audiences for years with its mix of laughs and edge-of-the-seat suspense. Written by Ira Levin ("The Stepford Wives", "Rosemary's Baby"), it's the story of Sidney Bruhl, a once-successful, now-desperately burnt-out and broke playwright who receives a script from a student at one of his college seminars and instantly sees a potential Broadway hit. Once the two start collaborating, suspense mounts steadily as the plot begins to twist and turn with devilish cleverness, and with such an abundance of thrills and laughter that you'll be enthralled until the show's final, startling moments. Nominated for a Tony in its original run, and recently revived on Broadway, Levin's ingeniously plotted thriller keeps the scares and surprises coming 'til the final curtain.
