Humboldt Park is located in the Bay View neighborhood and is one of the best parks to fish, bike, walk or to just relax. The park is well-manicured and always buzzing with activity, the nearby Pavilion is available for events and you can even rent the bandshell for your own private occasion. In the summer, one of the small ponds is stocked with fish and it's the perfect spot to introduce the art of fishing to the kids.

»Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory

The Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory is a huge expanse of lush green land that includes three domes built on the lines of a beehive that are connected to each other by a central lobby. Each of these domes has a diameter of 140 feet and a height of 85 feet! These domes harbor a plethora of plant life from all the continents of the world under their canopies. The Arid Dome houses a collection of cacti, shrubs and other plants that are native to different deserts in the African and the American Continents. The Tropical Dome features plants and flowers found in the tropical areas and rainforests, while the Floral Show Dome offers seasonal displays of various plants. »Henry Maier Festival Park

Also known as the Henry Maier Festival Grounds, this park is a local favorite. It is located in downtown Milwaukee along the Lake Michigan shoreline and it hosts many of the city's festivals, including Summerfest. Moreover, this 80-plus acre park has five permanent stages and an amphitheater which makes it the most sought-after space for outdoor concerts. It is also a popular spot for locals to come and walk their dogs in the mornings if conditions allow.

»Cathedral Square Park

One of the most popular gathering spaces for the community, Cathedral Square Park is bustling with life and activity. It is centrally located in JuneauTown, right next to the Cathedral of St. John, which gives the park its name. The city gave the park status in 1939 and changed the name from Courthouse Square to the present one. The square used to house a jail and courthouse, and it was the scene for the famous event in 1854 when about 5,000 locals came together to protest the arrest of a runaway slave, Joshua Glover. »Muskego Lakes Country Club

Located about 30 minutes southeast of Milwaukee, the Muskego Lakes Country Club is right near the lake of the same name and is one of the best golf resorts ensconced in one of the most picturesque parts of the state. The course has been in business for over 40 years and the banquet halls have seen many Wisconsinites celebrate some of their most hallowed events, from weddings to bat mitzvahs, it is more than just a golf club.
