The Three-way bridge or the Tridge is an iconic footbridge in Midland. Established in 1981, the Tridge, located in Downtown Midland, is surrounded by two important parks - Chippewassee and St. Charles. Overlooking the meeting point of the Chippewa and Tittabawassee rivers, the Tridge is a much popular tourist attraction. The photogenic three span bridge makes for great pictures and even greater visits.
Located in close proximity to the Kiwassee Lake, the Stratford Woods Park is a good place if you wish to spend some quality time outdoors. You can go fishing in the pond or have a swim in the beach waters. There are several walking trails and picnic areas with barbecue grills and benches.
This spacious park is where the go to locals to enjoy the wonderful weather during the spring and summer months in Midland. From dog walkers to picnic-ers, Chippewassee Park is perfect for a few hours of fresh air and outdoor fun.
Dow Gardens is located in Midland, Michigan. It is a verdant botanical garden that is a must-visit when in town. It was established by Herbert Dow, the founder of The Dow Chemical Company in 1899. The beautiful landscape is spread over 110 acres (45 hectares) and is home to more than 1700 varieties of plants.
Built in the year 1935, the Alden B. Dow Home & Studio is a historical house that belonged to the American architecht Alden Dow. Located in the city of Midland, this National Historic Landmark has a reception area, two drafting rooms and a sunken conference room that rests below the sea- level.
Northwood University is an American university located in Midland in Texas, United States. It offers various study programs for students like graduation programs, international programs, adult study programs and other facilities for high school & transfer students. The library is huge with books having a diverse range of topics. They also organize various exhibitions, garden shows on the campus which are open to the public.
Chippewa Nature Center is a public park located in the city of Midland. It was established in the year 1963, with a view to create ecological awareness among the locals. It covers an area of 1200 acres (485.62 hectares) and has large open areas with walking tracks and a lovely farmhouse!
The John Pratt Mosaic House is a local folk art located on Isabella Road in Midland, MI. Designed by John Pratt, a designer who battled schizophrenia at the peak of his career, the mosaic is embedded on the exterior facade of Pratt's family home. After Pratt started recovering from the dreadful mental illness, he began working on the mosaic as a private project. Made up of colorful pieces of glass that he collected, the artwork depicts many motifs and articulate designs. The house is now managed by Creative 360 Inc. who also conducts regular tours here.

The Delta College Planetarium aims to be both entertaining and educational. You can visit to catch a screening or host a birthday party or special event here.
Located on the bank of the Saginaw River, the Saginaw River Rear Range Lighthouse was built in 1867 to replace the original one that had fallen into disrepair. Deactivated in 1960, and then abandoned by the Coast Guard, the lighthouse was left to vandals. Currently its under construction to turn it into a museum and can only be viewed by boat as the lighthouse sits on private property.
