    »Kinnickinnic Church

    Those in attendance can marvel at large windows, arched ceiling, chandeliers, ornate pulpit and the functioning pump organ, not to forget the sprawling lawn area. The Kinnickinnic Church built in 1868 was left in an abandoned state for many years. It was the locals who decided to prevent the church from being sold out as they wanted it to be turned into a historic monument. As time passed, the Kinnickinnic Historical Association took charge and bought this vacant church. The association is a supreme caretaker of the church and hosts various fund-raising activities and social events. The Kinnickinnic Church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the year 2000.
