The Morgan-McClure Motorsports Race Team from the early years to the present is featured at this racing museum where visitors can see cars that roared into victory lane to win three Daytona 500s in the 1990s and also view wrecked editions from Talladega, Alabama, and Motegi, Japan. Other exhibits include a pictorial history of past drivers, past and present uniform displays, and a pit equipment display.
Providing an opportunity to learn about the history of the people and places of Wythe County, this museum's collection includes Wytheville's first fire truck circa 1855, early farming equipment and tools, military uniforms, Civil War displays, photographs of early schools and churches, and artifacts from the mining industry.
The Edith Bolling Wilson Birthplace Museum...Heritage, History, and Romance. These three words describe the story inherent to the life of First Lady, Mrs. Wilson, wife of President Woodrow Wilson. This is a story that embodies heritage; a proud, prominent Virginia family, direct descendants of Pocahontas. The Edith Bolling Wilson Birthplace Museum is located on the first level of the Bolling Home at 145 East Main Street in Wytheville, Virginia. Seasonal pre-renovated tours of the Bolling Home are available April-October.\
