    The clubbing scene of New Hampshire might not be very happening, but Club 313 is one of the best-known places in town to party. Karaoke fans will rejoice as this club has a complete room dedicated to them. 313 is a mixed bag of sorts where there is no restriction to the kind of crowd you'll find here: from teenagers to middle-aged people and from hip-hop artists to gays, they all come here to party. They have interesting offers on drinks too, especially on Thurst Daze Thursday's and Life's a Drag Saturday's. Keep an eye on the website for their monthly specials or call for latest details.     »Strange Brew Tavern

    A spot for young locals to meet, greet, dance, and eye one another, the Strange Brew Tavern is the place to be. Located a little off Elm giving it a more secluded and exclusive feel, this bar has a well laid out area with a bar, often with live music in the front along with a number of tables for casual relaxation. The back room offers a variety of games including video games and is more well-lit, offering a better chance for conversation. Bookshelves are scattered around the entirety of the bar although few patrons pay attention during the night time. With more than 65 beers on tap as well as bottles, and some creative bar food to spice it up, the Strange Brew Tavern is one of the best places in the city, or even the state to grab a cold one.

    Owned in part by the Chieftans, some of the best known Irish musicians of all time as the bartenders will be happy to inform you, the Shaskeen has a laid-back vibe although the crowd is a slightly older mix than other bars in town. Live music and open mic nights are standard in the back room. Over the bar are a variety of interesting memorabilia, including one of Chieftan's numerous Grammy Awards. Local and national beers can be found on tap, as well as a good selection of bottled beers.

    As the oldest orchestra in the state, founded in 1895 and with regular performances since 1905, the New Hampshire Philharmonic has delighted audiences for over a hundred years. Both amateur and professionals grace the group with their presence creating some of the best music known to the area. Most of the performances are held at the Palace Theater and various events are held throughout the year, check the website for details.

    Club Liquid is the longest runnung nightclub in all of Manchester. It is the spot to be for those who love hip hop and R n B music. Club Liquid is for those who love to have fun dancing. There is a bar here accross the hallway offering a good line up of alcohol. The atmosphere here is rocking with party goers thronging the dance floor to some pulsating music by the in house DJ and funky lighting all around. The crowd is generally college goers and young professionals. So all in all a great place to party at Club Liquid is.

    Although fairly quiet early on in the night, Brimmer's gets the dance floor packed once it gets closer to closing time. Live music helps to get the crowds out, and the patrons are college students and young professionals. While the dancing goes on upstairs, there is a low-key bar area in the basement with a totally different vibe. Every Wednesday is karaoke with a live band, try their Nice Melon-tini or a Lemon Squeeze to get your courage up enough to sing live in front of the audience.

    Truly a legend around Manchester, the Red Arrow Diner is a must for any and all diner lovers. Ranked as one of the top ten diners in the United States by USA Today, the place has as much personality as it has good and delicious food.
