This maze of connecting waterways is one of Sacramento's biggest outdoor attractions. The development of the area began in 1850, when steam powered dredges, boats and human labor created the levees that are still intact today. Much of the area is used for agriculture, and recreational activities. Trails, boat launches and beaches can be found along this 738,000 acre waterway.
A challenging nine hole, par 33 public golf that includes a driving range, practice greens and bunkers, well stocked pro shop, and snack bar.
This equine facility includes 12x15 stalls, a covered arena, pastures with three-sided matted shelters, turn-outs and paddocks, and a round pen. Instructions are available in English Equitation and Pleasure Riding, Western Equitation and Pleasure Riding, Horsemanship, Showmanship, and Trail Classes.
Strikes is a family entertainment center with a restaurant, bar, bowling, arcade and more. There is American food served in Coach's, a full bar and birthday party & corporate facilities on-site.
