This 247-acre center on the historic Suwannee River honors the memory of Stephen Foster, whose "Old Folks At Home" is the state of Florida's official song. The site is located a short distance from the Georgia border and serves as a gathering place for lovers of crafts, music and early and contemporary Florida legends. The Stephen Foster Museum and the Carillion Tower, have interesting exhibits, along with rare pianos and priceless musical instruments. Admission is $4 per car for up to eight passengers.

»Falling Creek Methodist Church and Cemetery

The Lake City in Florida is bestowed with one of the finest churches in the form of Falling Creek Methodist Church and Cemetery. This church, which carries great historic significance, is positioned six miles (9.6 kilometers) northwest of Lake City, on SR 161. The church is open to the public and offers regular worship services. The structure was initially a log construction which was later reinstated in the form of the present wood-frame building. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on April 4, 1996.
