Ned R. McWherter West Tennessee Cultural Arts Center is a prestigious landmark on Jackson’s entertainment scene. Located in downtown, it is popularly known as The Ned and plays host to an array classical and contemporary performing arts. This 2,200 square-foot (204 square-meter) space is equipped with a cutting-edge light and sound system and a 440-seat auditorium. It provides an intimate backdrop for musicals, choirs, orchestra and stage productions, and has featured the likes of Kathy Mattea, Don McLean and Eileen Ivers.
The Oman Arena is a multi-purpose stadium located in Jackson, Tennessee, USA, which not only holds concerts but also sporting events and family events. Previously called the ' Jackson Colisseum', it was founded in 1964 and later was named the Oman Arena in honor of the late Tury Oman, a local long-time coach. The seating capacity of this arena is 5,600 people.
