The Eden Cemetery is a monumental African-American cemetery and is sited in Collingdale, Delaware County in Pennsylvania. It boasts of being the oldest cemetery in the entire United States that is African-American owned. It was established on June 20, 1902. It comprises of 23 sections and provides for burial practices, foundation and memorials. Occupying great historic importance, the cemetery site is listed on the distinguished National Register of Historic Places since 2010.
The Darby Meeting also referred to as Darby Friends Meeting House, is the third meeting house that is home to the Darby Friends Meeting. This structure raised in 1805, is incorporated in the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
Established in 1927, the Lansdowne Theater is a significant landmark in the borough of Lansdowne. Although it shut down completely, after a fire in 1987, the Historic Lansdowne Theater Corporation, that operates it, has managed to still keep it alive in the hearts of locals. Tours inside the theater can be arranged, and it is often sought for photography sessions and magazine features. It is said that the Lansdowne Theater is one of the most haunted places in town, which is why, ghost-busting teams and occult enthusiasts frequently camp out here. Haunted or not, the theater is undoubtedly, a local gem and definitely worth a visit.
The William Penn Landing Site is the place where William Penn, the founder of Pennsylvania first landed. The site is marked by a granite monument and has been added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.
Commissioned by John Crozer, a prominent industrialist, the Crozer Theological Seminary began as a school. The American Civil War was saw the building taking on the role of a war hospital and later, in 1868, the Crozer family established the Crozer Theological Seminary in its place. Between 1868 to 1970 it served as the Alma mater to some of the most important individuals in America, like Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. After the seminary moved to Rochester, New York, the building was directed to accommodate medical offices and is now affiliated with Crozer-Chester Medical Center.
The goal of Cobbs Creek Community Environmental Center is to increase community awareness about issues that affect the environment. The Environmental Center accomplishes this goal by maintaining a major nature center for educational, recreational and aesthetic purposes and by providing hands-on environmental activities such as recycling, composting, trail development, watershed studies and park management. The Center includes an interpretive trail system, picnic grove, meeting rooms, classrooms, administrative offices, laboratories and exhibition space.
The Franklin Delano Roosevelt Park lies in the city of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. This lovely park comprises of various picnic and recreational areas, paths for walking, ponds and lagoons and also a golf course. There are facilities here for sports like tennis, baseball, skateboard and one can also participate in the model boat regatta.This beautifully designed park is said to be one of the best places to watch birds. You can also find a boat house, a charming gazebo and a Bellaire manor dated from 1750 within this park. There are music festivals being hosted here.

Calvary United Methodist Church is a saving grace for all those who have lost their way-in life. It rents out part of its land to plenty of churches and community groups, one of those being the West Philadelphia Mennonite Fellowship. It has also given a helping hand in the Prometheus Radio Project for its completion. Calvary Center for Culture and Community is affiliated to Calvary United Methodist Church. It is a non-profit organization and does a lot for the community by displaying a large amount of plays and cultural shows and performances. By getting involved in a couple of these events also, gives you a satisfying feeling deep down in your heart.
Clark Park lies in the Spruce Hill area of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. Relax and make a picnic in their large open field or playground or enjoy a game of basketball. Haddington is largely an African American neighborhood of Philadelphia. Encompassing an area of 8 acres (3.2 hectares), it comprises of buildings that date back to early 1900's. The area has a mix of architectural styles, with the Colonial Revival, Spanish Revival and Classical Revival being most prominent.
